Meet Dr. Neal Shah

Dr. Neal Shah is a Harvard-trained physician and former Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins.

After developing chronic illness during his Harvard fellowship and recovering through a microbiome–nervous system approach he now teaches, he founded Healing Microbiome to help others understand what their body is actually responding to. His work focuses on chronic symptoms — fatigue, brain fog, gut issues, sleep — and the microbiome–nervous system connection that drives them.

His work is based on both clinical and personal experience with chronic illness.
